Smartphone Policy

It is the policy of St. Rynagh's N.S. that pupils do not need phones during the school day.

Pupils do not need phones on school outings either. When on an outing the pupils will be in the care of teachers who will have phones.

Every effort will be made to return from school outings when timetabled.

It is our belief that phones are not necessary on a school outing and are a barrier to the children immersing themselves in the outing and enjoying the day.

If a pupil brings a phone to school they are expected to hand it in to the office. The phone will be handed back when the owner is going home.
